Caravan of Ihsan is an online platform lovingly dedicated to my children, Ahmed and Maryam, and to all who seek to deepen their connection with the Divine and elevate their character and conduct.
Rooted in Allah’s guidance, as revealed in the Holy Quran, and inspired by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who exemplified the highest standards of virtue, this space calls us to strive for Ihsan—excellence—in every aspect of our lives. Guided by divine virtues of mercy, humility, truthfulness, and patience, we are invited to pursue a life filled with purpose, compassion, and grace. Through this journey of refining both our inner selves and outward actions, we walk a path of spiritual and moral growth. So no matter where you are on this journey, Caravan of Ihsan is committed to suspending all judgements so that we can experience this journey with unconditional love together.
Mawlana Jalal al-Din Muḥammad Rumi said it best with his call:
Come. come. whoever you are. Wanderer.
worshiper. lover of leaving. it doesn’t matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair. come. even
if you have broken your vows a thousand
times. Come. yet again. come. come.
Vision of Caravan of Ihsan
Through the Caravan of Ihsan platform, Dr. Yasemin Saib aims to showcase the significant roles women with theological qualifications can play in Muslim leadership. Her vision is to engage communities with the beauty of Islam by balancing spirituality, theology, and the nurturing of the mind, heart, and soul. She is committed to promoting equality, inclusion, and a modern yet faithful interpretation of Islam that resonates with both Muslim-majority and minority communities.
